The F3600 has a standard capacity of 3600Wh – connecting one the FB3840 module increases it to 7440 Wh, which almost doubles device runtime without recharging. Adding two FB3840 modules provides a total capacity of up to 11 280 Wh, providing many hours of runtime even when powering demanding loads.

Charging with solar panels
FOSSiBOT FB3840 can be charged conveniently and directly from solar panels – a simple way to obtain independent, sustainable power anywhere. Compatible MC4 connectors and a wide input-voltage range make panel connection take only a moment.
The module supports up to 200W input power and voltage 11.5–50 V, enabling efficient charging from one panel or a compact PV kit – ideal for travel, allotments and power cuts.
FOSSiBOT FB3840 can be charged not only directly from solar panels but also in hybrid mode – via the power station FOSSiBOT F3600.
In practice, energy from panels connected to the F3600 (up to 2000W) powers the main station at the same time and automatically recharges the FB3840, which acts as an energy store. The system then works intelligently – managing current flow, charging modules in the optimum sequence and significantly reducing the time needed to fully charge the entire kit.
Safety and LiFePO4 technology in the FB3840
The FB3840 expansion battery uses advanced LiFePO4 batteries, which provide exceptional durability and safety. Unlike conventional lithium-ion batteries, LiFePO4 cells offer chemical stability, minimal overheating risk and resistance to short circuits and deep discharge. You can therefore use the module even in difficult conditions without worrying about performance loss or failure.
In addition, the built-in smart battery management system (BMS) monitors voltage, temperature and cell status in real time, distributes energy evenly and protects the battery against overload, overheating and reverse polarity. The result is uninterrupted, stable operation of the FB3840 module through thousands of charging cycles, while retaining over 80% of its original capacity even after many years of use.
Flexible connection to the F3600 – more energy, longer runtime
The FOSSiBOT FB3840 is designed for seamless compatibility with the power station. Connecting one FB3840 module almost double the system capacity — from 3600Wh to 7440 Wh, significantly extending the runtime of connected devices. For those needing even greater energy independence, it is possible to connect two FB3840 modules, giving a total capacity of up to 11 280 Wh.
With this configuration, the F3600 station and FB3840 modules form a scalable, intelligent power system, which can be adapted to your needs. The station automatically manages energy from the modules, allowing connected devices to be powered while batteries are replenished evenly.
