Professional 2-metre solar extension cable with a 6mm² cross-section, terminated with MC4 connectors (positive and negative) and designed for efficient, safe connection of photovoltaic panels to the other elements of a PV installation. PV MC4 solar-panel cable 2m 6mm²
This PV cable efficiently transfers energy from solar panels to an inverter, which converts direct current into alternating current ready for the household network. Standard MC4 connectors and high flexibility make the cable easy to install even in confined spaces, with no extra joints or adapters.
Robust construction and reliability
The cable has been manufactured in accordance with the stringent standards PN-EN 50618:2015-03 and PN-EN 60228:2007. It has a conductor cross-section of 6 mm² made from flexible tinned-copper strands for low resistance, excellent conductivity and oxidation resistance. The assembly is protected by insulation and a sheath of halogen-free cross-linked material resistant to UV radiation, moisture, abrasion and changing weather. The cable operates from -40°C to +90°C, with a permissible temporary rise to +120°C, and has a maximum outside diameter of approximately 6,6 mm.
Durable, watertight MC4 connectors
The cable ends feature robust connectors MC4 – male and female – which ensure a secure, durable connection. The connectors support cables with cross-sections from 2,5 to 10 mm² and current up to 30A at up to 1000V DC. The enclosure is made from robust PPO and rated IP67, protecting the connection effectively against moisture, dust and other external factors – an ideal solution for all conditions, indoors and outdoors.
With its compact form and 2-metre length, the cable is ideal for connecting components in mobile kits, home installations and on roofs or balconies. High flexibility simplifies installation in hard-to-reach places, while quality construction ensures long-term trouble-free use.
