Solar cable construction
The cable is manufactured in accordance with stringent standards PN-EN 50618:2015-03 and PN-EN 60228:2007, guaranteeing high quality and reliability. The 6 mm² conductor consists of flexible tinned-copper strands that provide excellent conductivity, low resistance and corrosion protection. It is surrounded by insulation and a sheath of halogen-free cross-linked material resistant to UV radiation, moisture, abrasion and harsh weather. The cable operates from -40°C to +90°C, with a temporary rise to +120°C, and has a maximum outside diameter of approximately 6,6 mm.
Durable, watertight MC4 connectors
The cable ends are fitted with robust MC4 connectors – male and female – providing a durable, secure connection. The connectors support cable cross-sections from 2,5 to 10 mm² and carry current up to 30 A at voltage up to 1000 V DC. A robust PPO housing provides an IP67 rating and effectively protects connections against moisture, dust and other external factors. The cable is therefore excellent indoors and outdoors, even in difficult weather.
Thanks to its compact dimensions and 3 m long the cable is ideal for connecting components in mobile and home installations and on roofs and balconies. High flexibility simplifies installation in hard-to-reach places, while robust construction ensures reliable, long-term trouble-free use.
