PV MC4 solar-panel cable 5m 6mm²
This PV cable efficiently transfers energy from solar panels to an inverter, which converts direct current into alternating current ready for the household network. Standard MC4 connectors and high flexibility make the cable easy to install even in confined spaces, with no extra joints or adapters.
Robust construction and reliability
Solar cable MC4 is manufactured in accordance with standards PN-EN 50618:2015-03 and PN-EN 60228:2007. It has a conductor cross-section of 6 mm², constructed from flexible tinned-copper strands for low resistance, excellent conductivity and oxidation resistance. The assembly is protected by insulation and a sheath of halogen-free cross-linked material resistant to UV radiation, moisture, abrasion and changing weather. The cable can operate from -40°C to +90°C, with a temporary rise to +120°C. Its maximum outside diameter is approximately 6,6 mm.
Durable, watertight MC4 connectors
The cable ends feature robust MC4 connectors – male and female – providing a secure, durable connection. The connectors support conductors from 2,5 to 10 mm² and are rated to carry up to 30 A at up to 1000 V DC. Made from robust PPO, the connector housing has an IP67 rating and protects effectively against moisture, dust and other external factors. The product is therefore excellent for both outdoor and indoor installations.
Thanks to its compact dimensions and 5 m long, the cable is ideal for connecting components in home, roof and balcony installations as well as mobile systems. Its high flexibility simplifies installation in hard-to-reach areas, while quality construction ensures reliable, long-term trouble-free operation.
